Blues artist Larry Lampkin will be Under the Stars at the Labyrinth Walk Coffee House (LWCH). A $10 donation is requested. If weather does not cooperate, the performance will move indoors.
Larry Lampkin, a Fort Worth native started writing songs about everyday life experiences and playing guitar as a teen. Mostly self taught musician, he had the privilege of taking some guitar lessons from experienced neighbor musicians, such as blues legend, U.P. Wilson. He toured the USA as a lead guitarist and band leader for recording artist, soul-blues singer, Vernon Garrett.
Larry’s first CD “When I Get Home” received immense air play and reviews. He has performed on the American blues scene as a solo artist, sharing the stage and ticket with some of the greatest blues artist - Lucky Peterson, Buddy Guy, John Mayall and many more.
He is one of the most exciting new blues guitar players coming onto the scene today. A passionate artist who performs from his soul, his music has been greatly influenced by the sounds of Texas, Chicago, and Delta blues.
