Dallas by Chocolate Tours offer sweet Valentine’s escapes.

Dallas by Chocolate is putting a lot of heart into its 2021 Valentines’ Chocolate Tours.  The day and evening tours offer guests everything from a daytime luxury escape via motorcoach to 5 of the finest chocolate dessert locales in town…to an ultimate evening catered by a noted chef.   An expert tour guide talks about the history of chocolate, and gives away chocolate prizes in chocolate trivia contests. Founded in 2012, Dallas by Chocolate tours emphasize the fun in chocolate, especially around Valentine’s Day.

Valentine’s tours start at $53 for chocolate tours that last around 3 ½ hours, and include a wide variety of options for all budgets such as a Taco & Margaritas Tour, a wine tasting tour, Galentine's event and even a Socially Distanced Valentine's Experience.  Price typically includes bus transportation, many samples and beverages.  The meeting location is typically in central Dallas and provided to tour guests after they reserve seats.

Valentine’s Weekend is just the beginning.  Dallas by Chocolate and Dallas Bites! savory tours are held all year long with such themes as  Dallas' Best Tacos & Margaritas Tour, Taste of the Bishop Arts District Tour, Wine, Bites & City Lights Tours and Christmas Lights, Chocolate and Sips Tours.  The tours are perfect for individuals, groups, corporate team-building, friends and special occasions. Private tours can be arranged for groups.  Gift certificates may also be purchased on the website.

Passionate about all forms of chocolate since she was a little nib, Jeanine Stevens started Dallas by Chocolate taste tours in fall 2011, leading tours to Dallas’ most revered institutions for all things chocolate. Ms. Stevens spent years acquiring knowledge of where the best chocolate and specialty food emporiums are located. “Whenever I’d drive through various Dallas neighborhoods, I’d think of what bakeries and groceries were located nearby. So why not take others to my favorite spots? So many cupcakes, fudge pies, cake balls and truffles…so little time!” Growing up in Chicago, Jeanine enthusiastically ate her way through the Windy City. She was an Advertising Creative Director for many years in Dallas, authoring such concepts as the zany Pilgrim’s Pride, Bennigan’s Blarney Blast and humorous Doritos ads. She prefers anything covered in dark chocolate, including pizza. Dallas by Chocolate now has a sister company, Dallas Bites and Sights Tours. These include Taco & Margarita Tours, BBQ & Brewery Tours, Ethnic Markets Tours, Taste of the Bishop Arts District and many other food and historical experiences.
