The 2016 Canterbury Cougar Men's Varsity Basketball Team
The Canterbury Episcopal School boys varsity basketball team pulled out a big bi-district playoff win Friday night over Garland Christian, 81-72.

Both teams were well-matched. The Cougars' level of commitment and resiliency proved to be more than the Garland Christian Swordsmen could handle. Marcus Mousavi lead all scorers with 20 points. Zach Rufus & Seth Jeffery finished the night with 18 points. Parker Williams added a clutch 16 points. Steven Roberts and James Roberts finished the night with 7 and 4 points, respectively. Defensively, Steven Roberts was incredible. Overall, it was a team effort that overwhelmed the Swordsmen and sealed the win for the Cougars.

The crowd was also impressive in number and vocal support.  They made the evening electric!

The Canterbury Cougars' next opponent is Plainview Christian. This game will be played at Plainview Christian Academy (in Plainview, Texas) on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at  6:00pm.
