Position Available: Retail Sales & Marketing Associate STORE LOCATION: Retail Home Furnishings Showroom on Hwy. 67 Freeway in Cedar Hill  Create & implement marketing campaigns, reach out to past & potential clients. Maintain records of customer’s future needs and follow up.  The Sales Associate has direct contact with the public & must represent the store in a positive, professional manner. Deliver an engaged experience to every customer, every time.  Primary responsibilities: welcome clients, listen carefully, answer questions, & suggest solutions.  Explain products, function, features and benefits. Match client home-style, lifestyle, durability, timeframe & budget requirements with correct products.  Confirm selections, complete the sale, supervise delivery/installation, follow-up to assure satisfaction, & establish long term clientele relationships.  Increase personal knowledge of products, sales techniques through continuous professional training. Actively participate in store meetings and training sessions.  Keep resource library and samples organized and put away.  Coordinate/implement online sales presence.  When needed: process the QuickBooks invoicing, payments, place orders, select inventory to complete minimum orders, assist in scheduling/supervising deliveries & installations.  Open and close store as needed.  Back up staff by answering phones, transferring calls, forwarding accurate messages in Outlook.  Visual merchandising, arrange & maintain displays, price new inventory, display any point-of-sale information.  Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates. Must have ability to move and/ or lift up to 20 pounds and heavier merchandise with team assist. Position reports to Office Manager & Store Owner. Hours: Flexible but suggest Tuesday through Friday 9 to 5 and First Saturday 10-4.
