Hillside Village is set to host its second annual “Cheers to Charity” event Thursday, Sept. 13 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. where guests can enjoy an evening of great shopping, complimentary wine and appetizers, and learn about local nonprofit organizations that make a direct impact on the Cedar Hill community.
Registration will take place at the Village Green from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and includes a VIP swag bag (while supplies last). As registered guests stroll through the shopping center, select retailers will offer a sampling of wine, light bites, and exclusive one-night shopping specials and perks.
With North Texas Giving Day coming up on Sept. 20, this is a great time to learn about local nonprofits. Feel free to visit, ask questions and perhaps schedule a donation. A variety of organizations associated with Cedar Hill Cares include Art & Beyond, Bridges Safehouse, Cedar Hill ISD Education Foundation, Cedar Hill Museum of History, Cedar Hill Pet Memorial Project, Cedar Hill Shares, CHAT, CHISD All Pro Dads, Friends of the Zula B. Wylie Library, Friends of the Tri-City Animal Shelter, Gabby's Sanctuary ARK, Help to Heal and Hope Mansion.
